What you’ll do

As a System Administrator at Animech, you will be able to grow within the operations field while working hands-on with our hardware and software systems. Some responsibilities consist of building and developing our system as well as setting up and managing CI/CD infrastructure. You will also have technical and administrative responsibilities for our server, network, and user infrastructure. Our goal is to have a secure and stable platform; therefore, daily tasks include ensuring system security against cyber threats along with deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting our servers. Another part of your job is to assist developers with technical challenges encountered via our systems. Here you will collaborate closely with your colleagues, in a helpful environment, acquiring new knowledge and together with us grow into future challenges. If you want to work with system administration as well as take ownership and influence our way of working with DevOps, this is a position for you!

Who you are?

We believe that you thrive in a varied role where you are biased against manual processes, have good problem-solving skills, and have a strong desire to help others. Since this is a new position, you will have the opportunity to help us shape it! We would love to see that you enjoy bringing innovative ideas and initiatives on both ways of working and decisions regarding our current systems.

We look beyond your resume, but here is a starting point:

• Experience using Windows, Mac, and Linux Servers
• Experience using a cloud platform (like AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD infrastructure
• Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English

In addition, we would love if you are familiar with core DevOps practices, Gitlab (self-hosted), Grafana and Prometheus, database management, or LDAP integrations. If that’s not the case, there is room to grow!
