I work as a developer where our team receives various projects from customers that we then build and maintain. The most fun part of my job is that it is creative with a lot of problem-solving. I also like the variation of getting to work with different techniques in the landscape between 3D visualizations and web applications.
A regular day at Animech starts with a meeting with the team at 9 am and usually a “huddle” or two before lunch to discuss a solution. Sometimes we go to Friskis & Svettis to work out together. After that, more programming and problem solving with small pingpong- and carrot breaks (yes there is a fruit bowl, with carrots!).
The best thing about working at Animech is the atmosphere. It’s a great fusion of kind people with a lot of humor. There is also great knowledge within the walls of Animech, so you automatically learn so much by just being within these walls, not only pingpong, other skills too! 😊
There are many nice memories from my time working at Animech. I love the “round pingpong” afterworks, which usually ends with holes in our socks. And the board- and video game nights, music jam sessions, beer tasting, barbecueing in the woods, office nerf wars etc.

I am a Sales executive at Animech. My primary responsibilities are sales and business development. The best part of working with Animech is the challenge to sell complex solutions and to work in an amazing work culture with great people.
What I enjoy the most about my job is the challenge to help clients with their digital transformation. I must also confess that a big part of why I have a big smile on my face when I wake up, is that I get to work with highly competent and very social people at Animech. The business culture at Animech is something special. It's just so much fun to work here! 😊
A normal day at Animech starts with the morning "stand up" with the sales team over coffee. We talk about what we are working on and if we need any help with our individual tasks. After that it's straight to the hunt. When I am not hunting for new clients I have weekly meetings with the clients that I am responsible for, these meetings are very important to keep building relationships with our clients.
My most memorable moment at Animech was the first sale I did. The sale process is very long because of the complex solutions we build so when the first sale got signed I felt euphoric. I also felt a large feeling of contribution, that i am finally a part of Animech and part of the journey.

For about three years I’ve been working at Animech as a Software Engineer. Right after my graduation I found a job ad from Animech and I thought that it sounded like a company that pursue projects within my interests (3D and web). So, with my masters degree within Media Technology and Engineering I decided to apply and I got the job!
A normal day at Animech as a Software Engineer is mainly spent by the computer, writing codes and having meetings. During lunch we always gather togheter and eat lunch at a nice restaurant. In the afternoon we usually mix tapping the keyboard with playing a ping-pong match. It's a perfect break! 🏓
The best part about my role as a Software Engineer is definitely the moment when you finish a project and you can see that the customer has gone live with the product. It is very cool to see something that you’ve been contributing to be used by people from all over the world. That’s when you feel that you have produced something real!
Working at Animech is nice in many ways, but the best part about working here is the colleauges and the company culture. The team is filled with people that are nice, like-minded and talented which makes every workday better. We often have after works at the office or at another pub in the city where we always create good memories together. 😊
Apart from that, I think it is great that you get the opportunity to work with a wide range of different customers within different industries. It can be anything from bag manufactures or pool sellers to companies that sell medical equipment. Even though many of our projects are built from the same infrastructure, the project differs a lot in terms of finding new solutions to implement the customers wishes.

As Head of Development I am responsible for our organization of developers, supporting and assisting them in building industry leading 3D configurators and digital solutions. I’m mostly involved in recruiting, onboarding, team well-being, career planning and presales!
The most fun part about my role is making sure our developers are happy and have the tools they need, clearing obstacles and continually improving our ways of working as a unit. I also enjoy the broad variety of tasks to tackle while meeting a lot of talented people along the way. 😊
Usually, a normal day at Animech is a mix of some development tasks followed by a presale meeting with a new customer and then probably a 1-1 meeting with one of our developers or an interview with a potential employee. Another highlight of the day is our lunch-train where we head to a nice restaurant together.
In a heartbeat I would say that the best part about working at Animech is the colleagues and our projects. Delivering visually stunning, state of the art real-time 3D-applications to engaged customers in a team full of talented people is hard to beat! Apart from several successful and exciting product releases, our kick-off trips stand out as they present the opportunity to talk to colleagues outside of your day-to-day circle in a relaxing setting, preferably a sauna or pool, with a drink of your choice. 😊
Jacob Selg Head of Development
I work as a Team Leader/Project Manager at Animech. In my role I try to have the birds eye view of what the team is doing, prioritize the work and coordinate with the customers. The best thing about Animech is my colleagues, the working environment and that I can be so proud and amazed of what we achieve.
What I believe is the most exciting part about my role is the journey that we do with our customers - from ideas to awesome visual and datadriven solutions! And of course, the oppurtunity to be a part of a great team 😊
A normal day starts with reading and responding to e-mails followed by daily stand up with the team. The rest of the day is filled with customer/project meetings, planning etc. And I almost forgot, laughters, we have lots of fun.
A memory that I have that I think describes the best thing with Animech is an after work with board gaming. I was kind of newly employed and we played exploding kittens (an awesome card game). The CTO managed to steal all my cards (with some help from others as well) while he was laughing so much, in a heartly way. It felt so much like a family gathering, and that is what Animech has become for me, a second family where people can come as they are 🙏
Animech’s vision is to be the world leader in smart, interactive visualization. By leveraging tools and techniques from the gaming industry, Animech provides interactive 3D-applications that increases effectiveness of sales, marketing, education and service. We’ve worked together with Volkswagen, Mercedes, GE, Sony, Starbreeze, and Epic Games.
